Life-Saving Operation on a Filipino Pilgrim in Saudi Arabia

A Filipino pilgrim who had a heart attack unexpectedly and needed to be taken to the hospital underwent successful surgery at Al-Noor Hospital, an affiliate of King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah.

The 78-year-old patient's health status is currently stable, according to the Ministry of Health, and he will be transported to Arafat in a medical convoy to conclude his journey.

The Filipino pilgrim expressed delight at being able to finish the Hajj rituals and praised the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques government, the Crown Prince, and the medical team that treated him.

Earlier this month, a 70-year-old Iraqi Hajj pilgrim's life was saved by a specialized medical team in Makkah by performing a six-hour surgery procedure.
