Pilgrims Start Arriving in Saudi Arabia for Hajj Season 2023

Pilgrims have started arriving in Saudi Arabia from around the world for the 2023 Hajj season.

The Governor of the Northern Borders Regions Prince Fasil bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz welcomed Iraqi pilgrims who arrived at the Jdeidet Arar land port on Sunday, June 4th.

Pilgrims from other countries including Iran, Pakistan, and Türkiye have been arriving in the country through airports and borders, where they are welcomed with flowers, Zamzam water, snacks, and more.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance stationed various guides at these arrival points who can respond to pilgrims' questions about Hajj rituals and other issues related to the pilgrimage.

Approximately 2.6 million pilgrims are expected to participate in this year's Hajj season.
