Saudi Arabia to Partake in Paris Gastronomy Festival

The Saudi Culinary Arts Council will participate in the sixth International Gastronomy Village in Paris from September 7th to 10th.

The Kingdom will assign four zones at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. One of these areas will be a store platform where well-known Saudi food items like dates, kulija, molasses, and more will be displayed and offered for sale.

There will also be a live cooking station in the Saudi pavilion where regional cuisine from the Kingdom, including mutabbaq, luqaimat, mandi, qasran, and jarish, will be prepared.

Also, there will be a special area for offering mocktails made with traditional Saudi ingredients. Additionally, there will be a location set out for serving dates and Saudi coffee.

This will be the Kingdom's second participation in the festival.

The commission hopes to highlight the cultural richness of Saudi culinary arts through the event and boost the presence of Saudi chefs and dishes on a worldwide scale.
