Travellers to the US Won't Need Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine from May 11

People who are planning to travel to the US will not be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccine from Thursday, May 11th.

The House of Representatives of the US Congress voted to remove the vaccine requirement for foreign travellers in February.

The requirement to provide a negative PCR test was dropped in June 2022, but the requirement to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination remained.

Non-residents entering the US by ferry or ship will no longer be required to provide proof of vaccination from May 12th.

Other than the US, China has also reduced the travel restrictions for tourists who will not be required to provide a negative PCR test anymore.
