More details about the event, which is being organized in conjunction with Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority (GEA), are yet to be released, including which wrestlers will compete.

The event will be the first live King of the Ring pay-per-view since the 2015 edition was held in the US.

It will also be the ninth WWE event held in Saudi Arabia after a 10-year partnership was signed between WWE and the Saudi Ministry of Sport in 2018.

The last time the WWE crowned a King and Queen of the Ring was at the WWE Crown Jewel event in Riyadh in 2021 in Riyadh, with Xavier Woods defeating Finn Balor in the men's match and Zelina Vega beating Doudrop in the women's.
