The Saudi Arabia Ministry of Tourism has confirmed that visit visas to the Country cannot be extended. The tourist visa permits travelers to engage in tourism-related activities like as events, visits with family and relatives, leisure activities, and Umrah, excluding Hajj, but it does not permit other activities such as studying.

The same was confirmed through Twitter by The Ministry of Tourism. 

Travelers to the country can obtain a multiple-entry visa that is valid for a year and permits them to stay in the country for up to 90 days. An eVisa cannot be extended after it has been issued. Visitors must reapply and pay a new application fee if the visit visa expires before they can enter KSA.
