GCC Residents Can Apply for KSA Tourism Visa Regardless of Profession

The Ministry of Tourism announced on Thursday that all citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), regardless of their line of work, are now eligible to digitally apply for a tourist visa to Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi News Agency, holders of the tourist visa would be able to travel to the Kingdom's different regions and perform Umrah. Travelers may use the online link visitsaudi.com/visa to apply for a tourist visa in order to visit the country.

The ministry is taking this step in order to provide GCC citizens the chance to visit tourist attractions, take part in entertainment activities, and discover the culture and history of the Kingdom.

Tourists are required to abide by the rules and directions while they are in the Kingdom, including carrying identity documents at all times, according to the requirements for tourist visas provided by the ministry.

Performing Hajj or Umrah during the Hajj season is not permitted using this tourist visa as per the statement of the ministry.
