What is the New 'Visiting Investor' e-Visa Launched in Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia has introduced a new business visa for investors as part of its effort to draw foreign funding into its economy. 

The new visa service, which was introduced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Investment, intends to facilitate the process of the foreign investor to Saudi Arabia to personally explore the investment potential in the Kingdom.

The unified national platform for visas, which has simpler and easier computerized procedures, is the way to apply for a business visit visa, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The investor's visa will be immediately issued when the application has been processed, according to the ministry.

Investors who are citizens of various nations will benefit from the service in the first phase, according to the ministry. In the following phase, citizens of other nations will be permitted to use the visa service.

The ministry emphasized that the new visa service aids in meeting the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030, which calls for the Kingdom to be a dominant investor and to be economically attractive.
