Mobile Phone Caller’s Name and ID Will Be Displayed as of October: CST

The Saudi digital regulator, the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), has introduced a draft technical specification for showing the name and identify of the mobile phone caller, starting October 1^st.

The caller's name and phone number must be displayed in the call log, and the device must be capable of receiving and displaying the caller's name and phone number across all technologies, including 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G.

The goal of this specification is to leverage modern technology to improve the efficiency of services delivered to end users.
