How much is the fine for violation of seating a child in the front car seat in KSA?

Seating a child in the front rows who are under the age of 10 would induce these fines:

● Children under 10 sitting in the front seat would induce a fine between 300 Sar - 500 Sar on the driver.

● Additional 150 Sar - 300 Sar for the child not wearing a seatbelt.

● This fine is imposed even if the child was sitting in another persons’ lap, not on his own.

● This fine does not apply to cars with only front row seats without back seats.

How is it detected?
