SAMA Announces Ramadan Working Hours for Banks and Eid Holidays in KSA

The dates for the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha holidays as well as reduced working hours for the month of Ramadan were announced by Saudi Arabia's Central Bank (SAMA).

All branches will be open every day from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm during Ramadan, while the money transfer centers will be open from 9.30 am to 5:30 pm daily.

Bank offices and seasonal branches will be available to serve Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and tourists over the holidays in Hajj terminals of airports and sea ports, as well as in Makkah and Madinah, and border crossings.

Eid Holidays 2023

The Eid Al-Fitr holidays will begin on Tuesday, April 17th for a week until Monday, April 24th. Work will resume on Tuesday, April 25th.

The Eid Al-Adha holidays will begin on Tuesday, June 23rd until Monday, July 1st. Work will resume on Tuesday, July 2nd.

Ramadan is expected to start on March 22nd or 23rd and last until April 21st this year. Dates might change on the basis of the sighting of the new crescent moon.
