96-Hour Tourist Visas to be Offered With Saudia Airlines New Service

According to local media, the Saudi Arabian airline Saudia has declared that passengers with tickets from the airline will be permitted to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a maximum of four days (or 96 hours). Furthermore, the traveler will be permitted to use this time to make the Haj and Umrah pilgrimage in the Kingdom.

According to a Saudia spokesperson, online ticket purchases by travelers will include a question about whether or not they need a visa. If they say they do, they will be directed to complete a form and a few short actions that shouldn't take more than three minutes.

With Etihad, Emirates, Fly Dubai, Air Arabia, and Air Arabia Abu Dhabi offering transit visas of 48 to 96 hours along with flight tickets, this system is already operational on a number of UAE-based airlines.

All international airports in the nation will be covered by the service. The new decision has been coordinated with the "Guests of God" service program, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of the Interior, and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
