Saudi Arabia: A Child Dies in a School Bus

The 5-year-old Saudi child, Hassan Alawi, died after being forgotten in a school bus yesterday afternoon in the Qatif Governorate in eastern Saudi Arabia.

The spokesman for Eastern Province Education explained that the accident occurred as a result of the bus driver forgetting to check the bus and to make sure that there were no students inside.

As a result, a working group was formed to follow up the procedures in place in such cases in the school in which the deceased student was enrolled.

The education of the eastern region offered condolences to the family of the child, praying to God to provide them with patience and solace.
