Heavy Rain, Sandstorm & Snowfall Expected in KSA Until End of Ramadan

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted that many regions of Saudi Arabia are likely to experience moderate to heavy rain, sandstorms, and even snowfall from Sunday until the end of Ramadan.

According to the NCM forecast, heavy spring thunderstorms accompanied by dust storms, torrents, and snowfall are expected to occur from Monday to Thursday in Qassim, Riyadh, Eastern Province, and Hail.

The NCM has also stated that moderate to heavy rains are expected to occur in Asir, Al-Baha, Jazan, Makkah, Najran, and Madinah on Sunday and Monday, as well as on Wednesday and Thursday.

The NCM has forecasted moderate to heavy thunderstorms in the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders region from Monday to Wednesday. Additionally, light to moderate thunderstorms, along with sandstorms, are predicted in the Eastern Province from Monday to Thursday, and in the regions of Makkah, Tabuk, and Madinah on Sunday and Monday, as well as on Wednesday.

Initial weather forecasts suggest that rain is likely to persist in most regions of Saudi Arabia until the middle of next week. The NCM has advised the public to stay updated on its website and social media channels to stay informed about the weather situation and affected regions.
