Madinah Buses Halt Services for Hajj Season Preparations

The Madinah Buses project, managed by the Al Madinah Region Development Authority, has announced that public transport services will be paused temporarily. Starting noon on the 9th of Dhu Al Hijjah, 1447 AH, this decision is part of the preparations for the busy Hajj season, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) has reported.

Services will return to normal on the morning of the second day of Eid Al Adha.

This change is part of a well-thought-out plan to improve traffic flow and ensure smooth logistics during the peak pilgrimage period.

Officials stated the temporary pause would help manage crowds and provide better transportation during this sacred time.

Even during this suspension, shuttle services to the Prophet’s Mosque and Quba Mosque will continue to run as usual.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to stay updated by checking official social media announcements regarding service schedules and changes.
