More Than 140K Hajj Pilgrims Arrived in Madinah as of Wednesday

As of Wednesday, 142,588 pilgrims from all over the world had completed the Hajj rituals and arrived in Madinah, according to state news agency SPA.

Based on the data from the Hajj and Visit Committee, 17,258 pilgrims arrived in Madinah on Wednesday, 15,159 of them landed at the Hijra Station through 395 flights.

While 1,797 pilgrims arrived by high-speed train at the Haramain station in 395 trips, 302 Hajj pilgrims arrived by land in 7 journeys to the pilgrim center.

105,617 pilgrims from various nations were still in Madinah as of Wednesday, according to statistics on the departure process, while 36,963 Hajj pilgrims had already returned to their home countries.

An estimated 35% of Madinah's apartments are occupied, while 56,894 pilgrims used the city's medical facilities.
