Man City Agree to a £30M Deal for Al Ahli to Sign Riyad Mahrez

English football club Manchester City has agreed to a £30 million deal for Saudi Pro League (SPL) club Al Ahli to sign Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez.

Mahrez has not been allowed to participate in Man City's pre-season trip to Japan and South Korea.

This decision had been agreed upon given the English football club received a bid that aligned with their valuation of Mahrez who had two-years left to his contract.

Man City paid £60 million for Mahrez in 2018 and he scored 15 gloals from 47 matches for the team.

However, for the FA Cup and the Champions League finals, the Algerian winger has been an unused substitute.

Mahrez' shift to Al Ahli follows the recent moves of footballers like Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Nevesand, and others to SPL.
