Saudi Arabia Foils Attempt to Smuggle 2.2 Million Captagon Pills

Saudi Arabia's Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority has foiled an attempt to smuggle over 2.2 million Captagon tablets.

The pills were hidden in baklava boxes that arrived in Saudi Arabia through the Jeddah port.

The customs authority assured that they would increase security control over the country's imports and exports through all their customs outlets.

The two recipients of the seizures inside the Kingdom were arrested. Preliminary legal procedures will be taken against them and they will be referred to the public prosecution.
