KSA Authorities Thwart an Attempt to Smuggle 4M Captagon Tablets

The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority in Saudi Arabia foiled a plan by three individuals to import more than 4,000,000 Captagon tablets as reported by Saudi Press Agency on Friday.

4,152,000 pills were discovered hidden in a shipment that was sent into the Kingdom through the port after an effort to transfer them through the al-Bat-ha land entrance, according to the authorities.

According to the report, the three individuals were captured and handed over to the prosecution.

Security officers in Saudi Arabia detained 591 drug traffickers earlier this month and recovered 22.7 tons of khat and 264 kg of hashish.

The Ministry of Interior forces apprehended the traffickers in the southern Jizan and Asir areas of the country, and they also recovered 473,799 illegal drugs from them.
