The machine will be a valuable asset to the King Salman Armed Forces Hospital and will help to improve the efficiency and accuracy of medication dispensing.

The machine has a workstation that scans the prescription barcode, an interactive screen for the patient to use, a special operating system (robot), and a messaging platform to notify the patient when their prescription is ready.

The machine is available 24/7 and can store up to 700 prescriptions. It can fill prescriptions containing multiple medications and is highly secure, protecting medications from damage, tampering, or theft. The machine also provides statistical data on the dispensed medications to the beneficiaries on a daily, monthly, or yearly basis.

The machine works by scanning the barcode on the prescription, filling in the required data, and then prompting the patient to select the nearest dispensing machine. The pharmacist then verifies the patient's prescription data through the electronic prescription system.

Once the prescription is approved, the patient will receive an SMS with the code and location of the nearest dispensing machine. The patient can then go to the machine within 48 hours and enter their civil record and the verification code to receive their medication.
