Recent reports from the Saudi Press Agency unveil a series of successful apprehensions made by the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, signaling a crackdown on drug-related activities across Saudi Arabia. A Syrian resident in Riyadh faced arrest after allegedly trading 60,000 amphetamine tablets, while in Al-Da’ir, Jazan region, border patrols nab two smuggling attempts involving substantial quantities of qat. Simultaneously, three Somali nationals faced detainment for attempting to smuggle 33 kilograms of hashish.

Apprehensions and Legal Proceedings
In the latest developments, the arrested individuals involved in drug-related incidents have been promptly referred to the public prosecution for further legal actions.
