Holiday for Saudi Arabia National Day 2023 Announced

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) has announced that Saturday, September 23rd is an official holiday for the private and public sectors in celebration of Saudi Arabia National Day.

However, as compensation for the public holiday, Sunday, September 24th is expected to be a public holiday in order to get a three-day weekend, meaning that work may resume on Monday, September 25th.

King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud announced the country's union as a kingdom on September 23, 1932. 

Then, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz declared the Saudi National Day a public holiday in 2005 with several events and celebrations to mark the special celebration of the country.

Saudi citizens can express their pride in their country's history, culture, and accomplishments during the celebration of Saudi National Day.
