Report Violations of Sunlight Work Ban, Urges MHRSD Spokesperson

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD), Mohammed Al-Rouzgi, urged the public to report any violations of the ban on workers' exposure to direct sunlight while working.

According to Mohammed Al-Rouzgi, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD), People who observe any violations of the ban on workers' exposure to direct sunlight can report them through the MHRSD's application or by contacting the ministry's customer service through 19911.

MHRSD has shed light on the importance of maintaining the safety and health of workers, and keeping them away from what could cause them risks and health risks, especially with the constant rise in temperatures, according to the National Center of Metrology (NCM).

The ban on workers from working under the sun between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. came into effect on July 15 and will remain in place until September 15.

As per the weather report issued by the National Center of Metrology (NCM) for Saturday, the eastern region and certain areas of the central region in the Kingdom can expect hot to very hot weather conditions.

The forecast indicates that maximum temperatures will stay be high, along with dust-raising winds that may affect horizontal visibility in some areas of the Makkah region. Meanwhile, areas of Jazan and Asir can expect partly cloudy skies with the possibility of rain clouds.
