Saudi Citizen Arrested for Intentionally Setting a Vehicle on Fire

A Saudi national was detained by the police in the Riyadh region for purposefully setting a car on fire in the Wadi Al-Dawasir Governorate.

According to the police, the individual had a disagreement with the owner of the car and decided to set it ablaze.

In addition, the police arrested another individual for breaking Saudi Arabia's anti-cybercrime law because he recorded the incident and posted it online.

The damage to the car, which was visible in the footage after the fire was put out, was revealed by the citizen who was caught on camera setting it on fire.

In a video posted to its official Twitter account, the Public Security confirmed that the accused had been taken into custody, that legal action was being taken against them, and that the Public Prosecution had been informed.
